Yay, Julie! I love finding art supplies like that at garage sales. Two months ago, I found a 7-pen Rapidograph set (new) at a garage sale. it cost a little more ($10), but it had never been used. Your deal is great, too! I think just one Rapidograph pen is somewhere between $10-20, yes? Excellent find!
No freakin’ way. What a find!
Great find, Julie! I have a set just like it that I had let sit for too many years, resulting in really dried up and clogged nibs. They cleaned up just fine with a little careful work. Hopefully yours will, too!
Yes, they’ll clean up fine, find some Rotring pen cleaner and put the nibs and cartridges in a sealed container and give it a flip every few hours for about 48 total and you should be fine! I bought my set new for about $50 with my employee discount from the reprographics co I worked for 12 years ago.
