My Studio – view #1

Posted on Tuesday, November 22nd, 2005 at 3:27 am

My sister recently came over and cleaned and organized my studio and helped make it a place where I actually really enjoy being and creating in. I decided to draw a series of drawings of my studio space. I started at the door. I will work my way around from here and hopefully you can get a good feel of what it looks like.

You can leave a response, or trackback from your own site.

OH — I really like this!!! Love seeing the space in which other folks work — and I really like the colors you used and the drawing itself!

And I join everybody else with the oooh’s and aaahs on the drawing–but I particularly like the juxtaposition of your notes of what everything is! Like a visual journal or something.

your studio looks like a great place to be! Love the sketch-you should post it to flikr’s art studio group!http://www.flickr.com/groups/artstudio/
Wonder if I could get my sister to do this for me-I can barely walk in my little art room. Oh well, guess, I’ll have to bite the bullet and start organizing!

This is great and the comments on the drawing made it even more fun! And, hey, I see a couple of books that look cool … :-)

Oh, cool! I love that you are sharing your studio with us. Mine is a mess and I am having big time difficulties with it: too many supplies, etc. I went to my local public library for ideas, but all the books (not many) that they had on organizing studios were owned by the Big Cats of the Art World, so money, etc was no object. Anyway, thanks for sharing…looks like Real solutions and I am looking forward to seeing the rest. Dusty

Julie, I love the green and light tan color scheme, and the wonderful line work on the wire shelving.
