MACRO MONDAY

Posted on Monday, December 15th, 2008 at 11:14 pm

I am not a great photographer…but my mom posts these on her blog for something fun.  I am not sure I have many readers right now since I update mine so sporatically…but anyway…can you guess what it is?  It’s probably pretty easy right?

Something in the ornament line, but I’m not sure, as it is sideways to my way of thinking. Are they in a box? MOM

hmm im not sure either! My first thought would be an ornament shaped like a bell…but it looks too foamy… Behind it there are definitely some ball shaped ornaments though. Do we get a prize? :D :p

Yes…can you guess what kind of ornaments? They have a name.
I have them in a glass jar…on my table. That was too easy, right? Next week I will stump you for sure!

I have no idea what that is. Ribbon wrapped around something like foam? Do tell. I can usually figure your mom’s macro Monday pictures right away. -kari Bergman

OK…I am so late in updating this!
These are my absolute favorite ornaments. Vintage Shinybrite ornaments from maybe the 50s? My grandparents had these all over their tree. they were always my favorites. I’ve even done drawings of them. This Christmas I had them stored in a square glass jar on my table. But they do look better hanging on the tree. I think I will put them back on the tree next year!

    Hi Julie,
I love these ornaments too. I have a couple from my mom.
I reaally, really love your new background for your blog. Where
ever did you find it? I am going to re-do my blog soon, as it is
still kinda Christmasy. I like to enjoy the tree and the decorations
well into the new yr. So have left it up. Still have the tree up too.
